Bianco Quinto Quarto

From a single vineyard in the Monte Calvario at 150m above sea level planted on a soil locally called “Ponka”, clay-filled marl which was originally part of the Eocene sea bed. Spontaneous fermentation, about a week skin contact and aged for 8 months in stainless steel. The wine shows some cloudiness but the colour is vivid and alive. Phoenolic sweetness and brightness.

Rosso IGT 'Stamas'

It is a red cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Merlot (80%)… the maceration takes place for approx. 20 days, after which the wine is aged for a year in wooden barrels, followed by flow into stainless steel, where it remains for a year, immediately after that it goes into the bottle , and when Franco decides it goes on sale itself.

The wine has a playful ruby color, and the range of aromas is divine…ripe red fruit, marmalade, forest undergrowth, a slight almost undetectable vanilla, in the background we find a slight pepper and a note of coffee and tobacco. The tannin is still very playful but very soft, fresh, with a nicely accentuated minerality, with a pleasant aftertaste reminiscent of forest fruit jam, which lasts and lasts. A wine that promises a lot of pleasure.

A very natural approach to vinification, with skin maceration for the whites and long macerations for the red, creates wines the reflect Terpin’s character and statuesque appearance: broad, genuine and generous.
