The brainchild of Avignonesi’s Alessio Giudi, The Juice Asylum project is a radical departure from the rather staid image of Tuscan wines. Combining biodynamically-farmed fruit from Avignonesi's vineyards in Montepulciano with a pared-back winemaking style, Alessio creates dynamic, vibrant and exciting wines.

'Il Terzo Grado'

Sangiovese from Avignonesi and merlot from Cortona are picked simultaneously, with the merlot adding its full ripeness to the early picked tones of the sangiovese. Fermented in stainless steel using native yeasts, this has loads of energy and freshness.
