Heras Cordón

Heras Cordon are a family-owned winery, producing wines with classic allure and modern polish. The wines are aged in a combination of French as well as the more typical American oak barriques, but the exceptional quality of the fruit is always front and centre.

Intense nose of redcurrant, plum and dark raspberry framed by delicate hints of clove and vanilla and a subtle smokiness. On the palate, the wine is rich and full, with generous fruit and well-integrated oak. A stylish and polished Rioja.

Heras Cordón

Heras Cordon are a family-owned winery, producing wines with classic allure and modern polish. The estate was founded in the nineteenth century in Lapuebla de Labarca in Rioja Alavesa, and in the 1990s the current owners, the three Heras brothers, expanded with the purchase of land and construction of a new, modern winery in Fuenmayor in Rioja Alta. The estate nows owns 50 hectares between the two zones, and has a further 60 hectares under long-term contract with growers. The wines are aged in a combination of French as well as the more typical American oak barriques, but the exceptional quality of the fruit is always front and centre.
