Tenuta La Favola

Tenuta La Favola are the kind of people that remind us why we do what we do: a family-owned and operated business, working honestly, with respect for the environment and making stonkingly good wine to boot.

bianco

Grillo-Moscato

Salty, citrusy and floral. Grillo makes a lovely crisp white at the best of times, but in this zippy little number it gets an aromatic boost from the addition of 10% moscato.

Tenuta La Favola

Tenuta La Favola are the kind of people that remind us why we do what we do: a family-owned and operated business, working honestly, with respect for the environment and making stonkingly good wine to boot. The vineyards are on limestone-rich clay soil, which helps to conserve water during the baking Sicilian summers. Look north and you can see the plume of smoke rise from Mount Etna. East is the Ionian Sea; south is the Mediterranean. This is a land of sunshine and wind, of olives and grapes. It’s primarily nero d’avola country, but muscat is important here too, and there is a smattering of frappato. Tenuta La Favola are proudly organic, and as they say themselves, they are not out to make the best wine in the world, only one that reflects this little piece of Sicily.
