Garganuda

A side project of Stefano Menti with Andrea Fiorini Carbognin, Garganuda began as a tiny, 0.5 hectare plot that Andrea inherited from his uncle in the easternmost part of the Soave appellation. Working the vineyard manually, he began making wine with the intention of capturing as transparently as possible the basalt soils and the vagaries of each vintage – hence the name Garganuda. Andrea has since expanded his vineyard holdings, but the philosophy remains the same, and vintage to vintage, the wines have a linearity and grace that we can’t get enough of.
